Social Purpose Real Estate (SPRE) for Arts Spaces. 

SPRE for Arts Spaces is a 3-year project designed to equip arts organizations with the skills to launch and manage social purpose real estate. Through training modules, case studies, and a Space Lab program, it focuses on supporting small and mid-size cultural organizations.

Goals:

  • Build capacity for multi-sector and shared-space partnerships

  • Address systemic inequalities in land and space planning

  • Foster sustainable, long-term arts spaces

  • Strengthen sector resilience

Offerings:

  • 8 online training modules

  • 6 case studies

  • 4 panel discussions

  • A Space Lab (Year 3)

Developed by ABO and Toronto Metropolitan University’s Creative School, resources will be available on ABO’s digital platforms.
