Metropolitan United Church, London Ontario
Working with Metropolitan United’s Congregation, London Symphonia and McMichael Ruth, architect, we redesigned the sanctuary into a more accessible and community-oriented sanctuary/recital hall. Stage design, audience comfort, acoustics, technology and accessibility were all part of the new design which opened in December 2022.
In 2023, this project received the Lieutenant Governor's Ontario Heritage Award. The restoration of the Metropolitan United Church was recognized for the “adaptive reuse of this iconic historical place of worship, now transformed into a multipurpose performance space.” Read more here.
